IRIS Certification For Railway Industry Suppliers
The international standard IRIS Certification replaces the IRIS standard. The International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS) was developed in 2006 by the “Union des Industries Ferroviaires Européennes” (UNIFE).
TS 22163:2017 (IRIS Certification™) has been the current standard for quality management in the railway industry since May 2017. By adopting the high-level structure of the ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard, the new railway standard has a uniform terminology, uniform evaluation guidelines and greater transparency in the supply chain.
